Enjoy a scenic half-day excursion through stunning countryside, starting with a drive along the Nordfjord, the sixth longest in Norway. After that, you'll continue up the magnificent Kjenndalen valley to the trailhead to see Kjenndalen Glacier. This glacier, situated in Jostedalsbreen National Park, is home to the largest glacier in mainland Europe. While there, enjoy a quick, easy hike through this wonderful landscape leading to the face of the glacier, which has an intense blue-green color. Later you'll have a chance to stop and enjoy coffee, tea, and delicious pastries at Kjenndalen Mountain Lodge. Next up is a trip to the stunning Lovatnet Lake, where you'll board your motor boat for a once-in-a-lifetime 12-mile cruise in Lovatnet Lake's turquoise waters. You guide will explain how the waters have been colored by clays washed down from the glacier. Once your cruise is over, you'll head back to the pier.
