Travel to the elegant capital of France, beautiful Paris. The first stop on your tour will be lunch at the base of the Eiffel Tower, where you will enjoy local cuisine. Afterward, you’ll head to the Louvre, which has dominated central Paris since the late 12th century. Built on the city's western edge in 1793, the original structure was gradually engulfed as the city grew. The dark fortress of the early days was transformed into the modernized dwelling of François I and, later, the beautiful palace of the Sun King, Louis XIV. The Louvre Museum is home to some of the world’s greatest art. You will accompany your guide through some of its splendid galleries, perhaps viewing the Venus de Milo and the enigmatic Mona Lisa. After your visit, you will ride back to Le Havre.
