Travel to Paris and enjoy a tour of the city! After, visit and enjoy delicious French cuisine for lunch & visit the Eiffel Tower. Upon arriving in Paris, you will begin your sightseeing tour. You will first pass the Place de l'Opera, often called the “Hub of the Universe” and considered to be one of the most elegant streets in Paris because of its well-designed houses and luxury shops. Next you will see Pont Neuf, "the new bridge" that is now the oldest bridge in Paris. Then, you will pass the famous Louvre Museum, home of the Mona Lisa. Continuing on, you’ll see the Tuileries Gardens, a stretch of French-style alleys and lawns along the Seine River’s Right Bank, before reaching Place de la Concorde, the largest square in Paris. The Eiffel Tower was built for the 1889 World’s Fair, held in conjunction with the centennial of the French Revolution. Although meant to last for the duration of the World’s Fair, the Eiffel Tower still stands, despite protests that this huge “object” wouldn’t fit into the architecture of Paris. Today, the Eiffel Tower is a beloved Parisian landmark and the symbol of the “City of Light.” With your guide, you’ll reach the third floor of the tower and admire breathtaking views of Paris. Afterwards savor a delicious 3-course lunch.
