Enjoy some sailing and snorkeling on this new Caribbean Sea catamaran, and later head to Playa Blanca beach for some fun in the sun or total relaxation. The choice is yours! Your tour will begin as you ride to Punta Cana pier. From there, you will sail along the Dominican Republic coastline indulging in a drink and a small bite, heading for the Igneri Caribe Taino Underwater Museum. At the museum, you will see 22 spectacular, underwater sculptures depicting indigenous Taino figures as you gear up for some snorkeling later. Among the sculptures, you'll be able to see all the marine life that Punta Cana is known for. After your snorkel, you will sail to a natural pool. Common in the Dominic Republic, natural pools are sandbars that have accumulated sand over time, and as a result have formed shallow sections of waist-deep clear water which guests can wade in. They are a good distance from the shoreline. Afterward, you will head to Playa Blanca beach, where you will have an hour for swimming, playing on the beach or relaxing under the sun. Once your tour is complete, you will head back to your ship.
Driving time to Punta Cana is approximately 1 hour each way.
Drinks (sodas, water, rum punch, and beer) are included while on the catamaran.
Additional food and beverages may be purchased at the beach restaurant.
Minimum age to snorkel is 8 years.
