Embark on a scenic driving tour through the rugged west coast of Sweden. The area surrounding Gothenburg is dotted with picturesque fishing villages, deep inlets and idyllic coastal resorts. Your tour will begin with you heading north, passing through the historic town of Kungälv and seeing the ruins of the 14th-century Bohus Fortress. Traveling further north, you will then cross the Askerö Fjord via the impressive Tjörn Bridge en route to the Island of Tjörn. From the bridge, there is a stunning view of the scenic landscape of Bohuslän county. Traveling through the rural countryside, you’ll make a stop at the quaint fishing village of Klädesholmen for a short, guided walk. Then continue your journey to Skärhamn — a picturesque small town where “the sea lies just outside the window.” Here you will have the opportunity to sample a delicious local pie. The tour will conclude with some free time in Skärhamn before you return to Gothenburg.
