Enjoy the coastal city of Ålesund on this scenic tour and take in the stunning sites throughout the city. Experience its Art Nouveau architecture, visit the Sunnmøre Museum and observe wildlife at the Atlantic Sea-Park. You will travel through Ålesund and view the classic Art Nouveau buildings with their elaborate stone turrets and spires, and also pass the impressive Ålesund Church. You will then arrive at the Sunnmøre Museum. This open-air museum features an extensive collection of antique houses and boats that span over 55 acres. Take a short walk and you'll find a collection of items from old Norwegian farms gathered from around the region and a collection of 40 vessels, including Viking boat replicas. The museum also boasts an archeological excavation site and a replica of a 10th-century Viking village. After the museum, you will drive to the Atlantic Sea-Park, Ålesund's personal aquarium. Visitors can observe divers feeding large species of Atlantic Ocean wildlife from behind a panel. The aquarium also features a penguin pool, with seals outside the park often swimming into the channel to get a handout.
